Hey, I’m Riana!

I’m Riana, a content and travel writer based in Vancouver, after a year living abroad in Europe with my husband and our dog.

I started Teaspoon of Adventure in 2012 as a place to escape my boring university dorm room. What started out as an online diary to let my parents know I was still alive has become a helpful resource for mid-budget travellers looking to go on their own adventures!

I’ve been lucky enough to live, work, study, volunteer or travel across six continents and almost 50 countries. And I love sharing my travel stories, best tips and research with you!
